Family comes first for a lot of people, and with that in mind, is there a better time to celebrate family than National Family Week? Let Heat Holders take you through a few activities to consider doing with your family this week, between 19–25 November 2017!

Have a movie night

Whether you’re a young family with children still in school, or an older family with kids have flown from then nest, a family movie night is the best way to sit everyone down and have a good time together. Everyone can be busy at times, but sitting down, getting cosy and putting on a thrilling film can bring the whole family together.

Visit a new place

Variety is the spice of life, or so they say, so why not visit a fresh location with your family? The UK’s natural beauty is often undervalued, with people preferring to jet away to Europe for a weekend away. But this time of year is optimal for visiting new cities or towns, with Christmas preparations in full swing, there’s sure to be tonnes to do, wherever you decide to visit!

Take part in a wild activity

In the cold weather, it can be hard to know where to take the kids. If you’ve got young kids, there are theme parks which will cater to their needs, whereas slightly older children might be more inclined to go paintballing or go-karting, the kind of thrill-seeking experience that will beat any afternoon spent on computer games.
