In comparison to other countries, the UK is quite tiny, yet it’s home to some of the most wonderful landscapes in the world.

We have selected some of our much-loved British walks, and we’re going to share them with all you outdoor lovers!

Let’s start with one of the most well-known walks in the UK; HADRIAN’S WALL PATH! Hadrian’s Wall is Britain’s most iconic Roman monument which also doubles up as a compelling long distance path where you can walk 84 miles from coast to coast following the World Heritage Site, meaning there's history every step of the way. Let’s not forgot the cosy pubs, market towns and great views too!

Now, we couldn’t do a hiking post without including the lovely Lake District! One of our most challenging but highly breath-taking British walks is ‘Scafell Pike’. This is one everyone should want to tick off their bucket list as its England’s highest mountain at 3,209ft. The mountain is within reach of most walkers, but we must warn you that it’s a long climb to the top, and can be tricky to navigate in bad weather so be sure to save it for a clement day. Once you do get to the top, you’ll be treated to the most wonderful view across the valley of Wasdale.

If you are planning to embark on a lengthy ramble, be sure to invest in some of our Heat Holders thermal socks. They’re perfect for slipping on underneath walking boots, and they’ll keep your toes nice and toasty too!
