The festivities are over, the turkey’s been eaten, the chocolate’s been scoffed. If you’re feeling anything like us this January, you’re full of love, light and copious amounts of gravy!
The New Year always starts off feeling a little flat, we’ve spent the last couple of weeks celebrating with friends and family and now we’re back to work, back to routine and back-to-back days filled with rain, ice and in some cases snow!
From now until March, we’re going to be experiencing some damp, grey and often snowy days. The wet weather shouldn’t stop us from getting out and having fun, so we’ve compiled a list of our top thermal pieces to keep you dry all January long.
Waterproof Socks
The only thing worse than cold feet is feet that are cold AND wet. We’ve all been there - accidentally stepped into a deep puddle, the heavens have opened whilst we’re out & about, or we’ve splashed some water from the sink onto the floor. I can feel it now.
Lots of us like to amp up our walking in January. We’ve overindulged in December and now we’re getting our steps in whenever we can. When the weather is continually wet and drizzly, we often come home with soggy feet and a bad mood!
Our 2.6 Tog rated Dual Layer Outdoors Waterproof Socks give you the peace of mind to walk, hike, run or ramble without the worry of damp socks - no matter the weather.
Using a unique manufacturing process, we’ve inserted a waterproof and breathable membrane between two Heat Holders Lite socks and bound them together to create an unparalleled 100% waterproof thermal sock that will keep you warm, dry and protected against all the elements.
Water Resistant Jackets
When we look for outdoor wear such as jackets and coats, we often look at two things: style and warmth.
We frequently miss out on possibly the most important aspect of a suitable jacket, particularly living in the UK - water resistance!
Water resistant materials make it harder for water to penetrate. That means a water resistant coat or jacket is the ideal choice for those living in wet conditions.
We have a range of water resistant jackets, from puffer jackets to gilets. We’ve linked a couple of our favourite pieces below:
Water Resistant Accessories
It may be wet out, but it’s also chilly. Thermal accessories, especially ones made with water resistant materials, keep you cosy and warm as well as dry.
Best of all, they’re the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one. Who said gifting was only for Christmas?!
