To celebrate the launch of our new loungewear collection for AW25, we sat down with Buyer Yasmin Ruia and Textile Designer Jennifer Parkinson to explore the inspiration behind the range, how the science of Heat Holders' warmth is integrated into the designs, and why the men’s range is particularly exciting. What inspired the new loungewear? Was there a certain inspiration behind the specifics of the range such as the Quarter Zip Fleece Sweatshirt?
For years, we’ve poured our passion into creating the cosiest thermal socks and accessories, designed to wrap you in softness, warmth, and pure comfort. Last year, we took that same love for cosiness and introduced our dusky pink loungewear set and thermal pyjamas, and they were an instant hit. Now, we’re thrilled to unveil our latest men’s and women’s lounge and sleep collection for AW25. Inspired by our core belief that everything should feel irresistibly soft, comfortable, and warm, this collection celebrates luxurious textures and snuggly fabrics so that we can embrace the cold season and take joy from the cosy nights in.
What inspired the extra detail, such as on the buttons?
We like to pay attention to detail, it is those finer details that can make a product feel extra special.
How do you find the process of balancing the science of your legendary warmth with aesthetic designs?
First and foremost, we want to create products that are in line with our brand ethos. Once we have decided on a new product, it is a case of finding those beautiful fabrics that offer warmth and comfort, but they also need to be practical and aesthetically pleasing. It can be a challenging process but when it aligns, we truly feel the product offers something extra special.
What’s your personal favourite new design and why?
I am personally loving the new ladies loungewear set. It feels super soft against the skin and so comfortable to lounge around in without feeling too bulky. We added a hood and pocket detailing which makes this not only cosy but practical too! I can see this being popular for us this Winter.
Can you talk us through the materials used in the new loungewear and how they are designed to lock in heat?
We make sure that all our selected fabrics are extra special. Ultimately, they need to have high thermal properties, but the thermal element needs to be accompanied by an extra soft touch or brushing which really sets our product apart and makes it extra special.
Is there a particular piece you’re especially excited to see how people respond to?
The men's collection of the pyjamas and lounge pants, is a new addition this year, so it will be very exciting to see the feedback from these new items. They have been a big hit with the team here so far and I am sure they will be well received by our customers. They really are a bit of thermal luxury.
What drove you to expand into men’s with your men’s pyjamas and loungewear?
We all like to feel comfortable around the home but with the colder months on the way, we also need something to keep us warm. We’ve managed to combine practical lounge design with a luxury thermal fabric for these new items. I truly believe the new men’s collection will be the go-to attire around the home this winter. Each product has also been packaged with ribbon so whether it is a gift for yourself or a loved one, it is a special treat!
