Nice and warm but quality could be better

These are lovely, warm and soft on the inside. Unfortunately the quality could be better. A hole developed in the toe where the stitching is which had to be sewn up and now the elastic around the top of one of the socks has started to come undone. They've also gone bobbly very quickly having only been used for two weeks and not every day. They do keep my sons feet warm which is good and he likes them but I'm not sure how long they'll last. I was expecting better quality

What is a TOG rating?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is an independent laboratory-tested standard for insulation. The higher the TOG rating, the better the product is at keeping you warm. You’ll see TOG ratings applied to duvets and babywear, as well as thermal clothing like Heat Holders.

How warm are Heat Holders Original socks?

As far as we know and have ever tested, all three weights of Heat Holders socks (Original, Lite and Ultra Lite) are the warmest thermal socks in their respective weight/thickness categories.

Our Original socks have a TOG of 2.3, which is 7 x warmer than a basic cotton sock.

We also have our Original Wool socks, with a TOG of 2.7 and our Original Merino Wool socks, with a TOG of 2.9.

What's different about your slipper socks?
