Great quality

Disappointing and painful

I'm a big fan of regular Heat Holders socks, I find them warm and comfortable and wear them with my work boots every day. I have found that the heels wear through after a fair amount of time though so bought these due to the reinforced heel and toe. Perhaps because of the thicker material in these areas my toes were crushed while wearing these and by the end of the day my nails were bloody and my feet were sore. I've not had this issue with any other boot sock. After washing them the brushed inner has started to shed. They are warm and I will probably be able to use them in the house but would require at least a size bigger and wider boots to prevent my toes getting crushed again. Save the 2 quid and get a regular pair of Heat Holders, they don't wear out particularly quickly
